How can I switch from a traditional SIM card to an eSIM?
If you are already a swype customer, you can switch from a conventional SIM card to an eSIM directly in the swype app under «Number settings (gear icon)» «SIM Settings» > «Change to eSIM». Please follow the further instructions to install the eSIM profile.
For security reasons, you will need to go through an ID validation process or identity check when you first switch to an eSIM before you can install the eSIM on your device.
Important: Please note that a SIM change is only possible if one of the main tariffs is activated for the respective swype number. If no main tariff is activated, you will be automatically informed during the change process that you must first activate one of the main tariffs in order to be able to change your SIM card to an eSIM and install it.
