How and where can I activate the various swype tariffs?
You can activate your tariffs at any time in the swype app when you are logged in. You will need an Internet connection to do so. Please find a Wi-Fi connection first and then activate the desired main rate in the app. During activation, the respective rate amount will be debited directly from your stored payment method.
You can activate the main tariffs, swype Swiss and swype Surf, directly on your number’s start page via «swype Swiss» > «+ Activate now» or «swype Surf» > «+ Activate now» or by going to the number settings (gear icon) > SUBSCRIPTIONS > «Activate swype Swiss» or «Activate swype Surf».
If one of the main rates is activated and you are in Switzerland, you can turn off your Wi-Fi on your device and use the mobile 4G data to activate additional tariffs.
You canactivate the «swype International» additional option (tariff) on your number’s start page via «swype International» > «+ Activate option» or under the number settings (gear icon) > SUBSCRIPTIONS > «Activate swype International». If you are abroad, please make sure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network to activate the rate.
You can activate the 5G additional option (tariff)by going to the number settings (gear icon) > SIM > «Upgrade to 5G». Please check the availability of 5G coverage before activating the 5G option. You can do this via the following link: 5G coverage in SwitzerlandWe also ask that you check whether your phone supports 5G technology.
If you have activated the main rate «swype Surf», you can activate the swype Talk service option on the start page of your number via «swype Talk» > «+ Activate option» or by going to the number settings (cogwheel icon) > RATES «Activate swype Talk».
