How can I avoid unlawful advertising calls?
You can prevent unlawful advertising calls by using the «Call Filter» feature in the swype app.
The «Call Filter» feature allows you to activate or deactivate a central blacklist directly in the swype mobile app. Once activated, the call filter automatically blocks incoming calls from numbers included on a central blacklist.
This central blacklist is continuously updated by Sunrise UPC and maintained based on various criteria. Criteria include disregard of a starred entry in the public telephone book, calls at unwelcome times, aggressive advertising calls using dubious sales practices, callers who do not observe transparency requirements (such as providing their phone number), etc.
You cannot block individual personal phone numbers with the «Call Filter».
If you would like to report numbers from which you have received unlawful advertising on several occasions, please send information on this to abuse@sunrise.net in as much detail as possible. We will be happy to investigate this and add the numbers to our blacklist if necessary.
